The UBMS office can sometimes get overwhelmed by paperwork, our least favorite part of the job. We get plenty of it done on our own, but we're finding that it can sometimes get in the way of paying attention to the students. We decided to pick up some extra help from Marian students. We've hired two office assistants to help out around the office.
Kaitlin can be found here from 9-11 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and 1-3 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Kelsi can be found here from 1-4 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
They've both done a quick introduction of themselves below. Drop 'em a line a say hi!
Kaitlin Smith
Hello, my name is Kaitlin Smith and I am a sophomore at Marina University. I
have a little baby girl and two jobs outside of school. I am currently studying
Forensic Science and want to work in the lab, doing blood stain analysis or
toxicology. When I am not around campus, I live in Oshkosh, WI. I don’t room
here on campus but I am always here for help if needed. I went to Oshkosh West
and my graduating class was a few hundred people. I came to Marian because of
the smaller class sizes and the friendly attitude of all the stuff.
Outside of school I enjoy doing many different things. In the summer I play
volleyball, spend family time and am a part-time lifeguard. Being able to hold
down a little girl, 2 jobs and school has taught me to deal with a lot of
stress and what my priorities are. My biggest role models in my life would have
to be my mother and my friends. My mother has taught me to always be true to
myself no matter what anyone tells you. My friends have been thru so much with
me as well. If they weren’t there for me in my rough times I don’t know where I
would be today.
Some other things about me are, my favorite food is anything Italian and
my favorite color is blue and sometimes pink. I enjoy going on vacations every
summer with my family. I have a mini French lop named Zypp and I love him with
all my heart. I am always open to talk about problems with anyone and am
willing to help in whatever way I can. If you have any questions or concerns,
feel free to contact me. Just leave your name and contact information in the
email to send it to trio.ubms@marianuniversity.edu.
Kelsi Gregar
Hello, my name is Kelsi Mae Gregar and I am a freshman at Marian
University. My love for children and helping others has inspired
me to fulfill
a dream of studying Early Childhood/Elementary Education. When I am not studying at college, I live in New Lisbon, WI. My hometown is around two hours from Fond du Lac and it has
a population of only around
1,500 people. Adjusting from my
high school graduating class of 41 students to my current class of over 400 people was a slight challenge,
but it opened up many great doors
and new experiences.
Outside of the classroom,
I enjoy doing many things. In my free time people can usually catch me working
out in the gym, shopping, and or baking. Being able to balance school with work
and my social life has taught me a lot about time management and how to use an
agenda. My love for shopping and baking
were taught to me by my
grandmother. My grandma is definitely my biggest role model, and ever since I was a
little girl I would help her shop for Christmas presents and
make sugar cookies. As for working out in the gym goes, in high school, I was actively involved in cross country and track, therefor I learned to love to
run and stay in shape.
Some
other tidbits about me are, my
favorite color is purple... and
pink and my favorite food is
anything fried. I also really enjoy cotton candy along with other various fair
foods. As a person can tell I am slightly indecisive, but I enjoy having more than one
"favorite." In my life I have decided on one favorite, and his
name is Hartley. Hartley is an English/ German Shorthaired Pointer, whom which
I bought myself this past summer. I have three dogs at home, but I would rank
him #1 on my list any day. If you have
any questions you would like to ask me, please email your name and contact info
to trio.ubms@marianuniversity.edu.
