Career Wellbeing - Why is it Important?

Earlier this summer UBMS students had the opportunity to learn about the Gallup StrengthsFinder from our own Sister Deb Golias. After her successful presentation, we decided to have her back to present on Well Being in correlation with Strengths. Please mark your calendars for:

Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Marian University Stayer Center 5:30 PM – 7:00PM.
PRESENTED BY: Sister Debra Golias

The mission of Well Being: The Five Essential Elements is to “provide you with a holistic view of what contributes to your well-being over your lifetime.

UBMS students will spend the evening exploring the 5 areas of well-being and learn which of those is most impactful on holistic happiness over the course of a lifetime. During her presentation on well-being, Sister Deb will refer back to Gallup’s Strengths as well.

Students are requested to bring their Strengths Discovery and Action Planning Guide and a writing utensil.
If a student has already taken the StrengthsFinder at strengthsquest.com already and needs to be reminded of their username/password or Top 5, they can visit the link on the sign in page to be emailed their username and password.

If a student has taken the Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment at strengthsfinder.com and wants to pull up their results to use the SQ.com portal and tools, they need to have their original username/password combination or access code handy.

New students will be mailed instructions.

While most UBMS career exploration presentations serve to help our students gain knowledge and appreciation for math and science in a variety of areas, this presentation is designed to help students understand how important it is to enjoy all aspects of their lives, especially their vocations.

This is a required program for all of our students.  Parents are invited to attend, but UBMS staff request notification of parents and/or additional guests attending for planning purposes.

RSVP by clicking HERE.

Students are asked to please inform Chris if unable to attend this event.
